singularity – about the future of man and machine
if you combine key events of the human evolution and milestones of
technical development on a single timescale, you will receive a double
exponential graph. paradigms change faster and faster and this process
has not been completed, yet. can you imagine twenty thousand years of
technological evolution packed in only two decades? innovations breed
innovations and intelligence breeds intelligence, until the human nature
will irreversibly be transformed. what is the ultimate destiny of man and
machine? which events are lying ahead for the next 200 years?
the singularity is near and this is its countdown.
after 12 semesters of studying communications design at the folkwang
university of arts this is my diploma-project to receive the degree of a
qualified designer.
